X hits the spot

The well-tasty electronic/techno night Ape-X are teaming up with Raw Cuts for a special night at World Headquarters this December, which will see LB aka LABAT (pictured) making his long-awaited Newcastle debut.

This is the first collaboration between Ape-X and Raw Cuts and I reckon it’s going to be one of those nights that will be whispered about by astonished punters for years to come. Headlining is a fella getting his first taste of stotties, Gregg’s festive bakes, and general Geordie good cheer: LB aka LABAT. This French talent – a DJ, producer and label owner – has long been close to the British (and Australian) scenes and has a relentless dedication to his craft. He’s played many an iconic venue, and plenty of major festivals, and he’s always evolving and breaking down barriers, particularly when it comes to genre. He’s put out some stunning releases over the last ten years and it’s great to finally welcome him to Newcastle. And the night promises to be extra special as also along for the ride will be Thelma B2B with Raw Cuts’ head honcho Adam Cutting. If you’re only attending one party this December, then make damn sure it’s this one. JL
