I’ve long loved this Manchester band. Led by the fab Heather Baron-Gracie, they’ve always looked like dodgy goths, but they make fab indie-dream-pop. Their latest album – let’s call it their fourth – is their best yet. They’ve amped up those glorious and ever so jangly hooks even more for a full-on alt-pop banger of an album that is replete with infectious track after infectious track. Chuck in some fist-punching-the-air choruses and you’ve got the full package. DP
