Little Hag have previously referred to themselves as “bitch rockers”, and this third album of theirs is full of bitch rocker energy in the best kind of way. Bold and unflinching, the lyrics cover uncomfortable, taboo subjects unapologetically - including an ode to a vibrator - while the sound is experimental and unable to be boxed into a single genre. Not one song on this album is like the rest, thanks to a combination of frontwoman Avery Mandeville’s expansive songwriting talent and the eight different producers and studios that she collaborated with on this release. It’s ecclectic, whacky and incredibly entertaining. LT
