Fancy a forage?
There’s nothing I love more in the run-up to Christmas than a good forage, and, luckily for me, there’s plenty of foraging to be had at the next Forage Winter Market, which is taking place at The End Hemmel at the glorious Rigg & Furrow farmhouse brewery in Morpeth. The Forage Lifestyle brand was put together by Ellie Davison-Archer (homeware designer) and Steven Eyles (graphic designer) with the pair sharing a love of handcrafted objects and sustainable products. Their summer market was a huge hit with punters, and this winter iteration promises to build on that success. It’ll be a two-day affair and will feature up to 45 stalls selling all manner of goods from makers, artists, creatives and artisans keen to showcase their handmade wares. What’s more, the Rigg & Furrow taproom will be open for artisan brewed drinks, which can be enjoyed alongside some local street food in their rustic indoor seating area, or out in the paddock. (Note: Forage are also holding a smaller market at Brewis Beer Co Taproom in Morpeth on Sunday 24 November.) DP
