The Happy Daze sound system DJs + Joy Division tribute act Transmission! In Stockton! It’s so freaky it just might work.

This event has got fun streaked through it even if fun isn’t probably the first word that springs to mind when you think of Joy Division. But Transmission will be paying homage to Ian Curtis and co by belting out all their classics such as ‘Love Will Tear Us Apart’ and ‘Disorder’. But also on hand will be the Happy Daze sound system DJs, and they’ll be playing a frothy and intoxicating mix of indie and alternative tracks from the 70s to the 90s. It’s a selection that is sure to include a healthy dollop of Happy Mondays, Stone Roses, The Smiths, New Order and all those other bands that adorned student walls back in the day.
