The second long-player from Michael Head’s bassist reaches for the stars with a concept album of sorts exploring wide-eyed space exploration via the medium of folk-hop, progressive-psych, and full-bodied melodies. Belle and Sebastian’s Chris Geddes, and author Gregory David Roberts, are both along for a ride, which is a wild but rewarding one. GM
