‘Cultr’ at Vane features some stunning work from eight up and coming students, but hurry, hurry, hurry – the exhibition is running for only three days in January.

Jade Lenehan is just one of eight art and design practitioners showing work at this show (that’s her work pictured), all of whom are currently students at the very well regarded The Northern School of Art in Hartlepool. The theme of the show is ‘Culture and Identity’ and to that end each artist has expounded on the contemporary world around them in a multimedia exhibition that takes in fashion, design, sculpture, photography and painting. The work engages in a variety of conversations around class, feminism, sex and mental health.
