This is the original soundtrack to Robert Eggers’ new, well-received, film ‘Nosferatu’ and it’s been put together by Robin Carolan, who provided such a memorable score for Eggers’ previous film ‘The Northman’. As you might expect, it’s a release that drinks deep from the well of the dark stuff, with a vast orchestra – including 60 string players, a full choir, horns and woodwinds – conjuring up a richly gothic mood that is both melancholic and darkly romantic.
