Trans woman jasmine.4.t says the title of this, her debut album, is dedicated to the queer friendships that helped save her life when she came out. Queer people represent: “A fresh start, new days which are beautiful and cosmic.” Her album – which takes in everything from gorgeous, fingerpicked indie pop to flickering ballads to wonky lo-fi – glows with indefatigability, love and sensuality, and, ultimately, turns its head towards the sun.
