Colombian artist Ela Minus first hovered onto radars with her super-charged 2020 debut release ‘acts of rebellion’, which was something of a techno-pop banger. Her second album sees her pulling some cutting-edge production moves, pushing her electronica into fresh and expansive pastures, but this time round she’s on a much more reflective tip, which lends the release a lean-in-close vibe. The results straddle experimentation and accessibility, monumentality and intimacy, in a way that is never less than beguiling. GM
