This February, Excite are having their Valentine’s Special on 8 February, which is – you know – quite close to Valentine’s Day…

I’m not a big fan of Valentine’s Day. Actually, scratch that. What I really mean is that I’m not a big fan of going out on Valentine’s Day itself. All those couples gawping at overpriced menus in restaurants, blokes in their “smart shirts” (shirt tails hanging out over “smart jeans” – 90s style), women looking bored, wishing their mates were with them. But I do like the idea behind this clubbing event. Taking place in a refurbished Digital, it will be fully kitted out with Valentine’s décor and will also feature dancers, confetti cannons, and some live acts. Oh – there will also be some top UK DJs doing their thing too (i.e. they’ll be knocking out plenty of floor fillers). Seal this one with a kiss.
