The Sunderland spoken word poet and musical artist 90BRO is launching his new album in North Shields this March, and it’s set to be an event far removed from your average launch.

I’ve been to a fair few album launches in my time but none of them commenced with a sunset yoga/meditation session. But anyone attending this launch will get the chance to give it a go courtesy of Kate Brett. And – get this! – the night is set to end with a hip-hop cypher. Fancy that! In between a whole host of acts will perform including 90BRO who is launching his new album, a release that deals with themes of reflection and inner child healing. The action-packed evening will also feature performances from local musical guests (think: hip-hop, r&b, soul, punk) includig: B-Type, ambar dhesi, Davey Blast, Louis Chrisp, Too Common & Sophie Michelle Mitchell, MK Ultra & Average Joe. Should be kinda amazing.
