Oh, man! This north-east bunch are here to party! Their debut album is spilling over with chunky mega-riffs, feel-good-glam-boogie and stomp-a-long-goodness. It’s all very danceable too – in the manner of Mud’s peerless ‘Tiger Feet’ kind of way – and their cover of Gilbert O’Sullivan’s 1973 classic ‘Get Down’ should be available on the NHS for those in need of a lift. Fans of Denim should also go a bundle for this. Absolutely banging. DP
