Coining a new term to name this third album was a smart move by FKA twigs, as I’m not sure there’s anything already in the dictionary to define the sensual, euphoric world she creates with this foray into club music. The left-field digital sounds are complex and experimental, but when paired with FKA twigs’ airy vocal and lyrics exploring pleasure and intimacy, the music perfectly encapsulates the sensation of being lost in a moment; whether that’s on the dancefloor, through sex or connection with the self.
