If you’re desperately looking for any indication that balmy summer nights are on their way, then this New Orleans quartet have got all the goods you need. Their twangy, strummy and supremely melodic rock has one of those top down on your sports car vibes, with a Laurel Canyon sound that nestles neatly somewhere between The Byrds, The Mamas and the Papas, Cosby Stills Nash and Young, and, well, you get the picture. If the concept of “groovy” is coming back, then Silver Synthetic are at the vanguard. RM
