Wallows’ latest EP is exactly the type of music we need around this time of year: catchy indie/pop anthems that are best listened to on full volume with your car window down and the sun in your face. At a breezy 21 mins long, it’s more of a whistle stop tour of what the band does best rather than creating space for anything particularly groundbreaking, but if you’re a fan of their frank, existentialist songwriting, post-punk guitar riffs and sunny synth melodies, you’ll be pleased with this.
