This is the second album from the multi-talented Anna Lena Bruland (aka EERA), a Berlin-based Norwegian singer, songwriter and guitarist, and it’s a real lapel-grabber. Her debut release – 2017’s ‘Reflection of Youth’ – took its cue from the likes of PJ Harvey, but here she’s widened her sonic palette to take in influences from Broadcast to Lush. And boy does she know how to wield a commanding synth. DP
