Oh man! The new album from this north-east rapper is citrus sharp and it should see him catapulted into the national consciousness forthwith. His grime-inflected beats are never less than fresh, interesting, and right up in your business, but he also knows when to throttle back, such as on the magnificent ‘No Stressin’’, which is one of those tracks that rolls with the blows. The instrumentation throughout – whether it’s swoony strings or twangy Eastern sounds – is always on point, which all adds up to a fabulous collection of songs. DP
