This is the sixth album from this feisty indie-rock duo and, pleased to report, they remain as crunchy as ever. What’s different this time is the very real sense of dark drama they manage to inject into these tracks – from the electro thrum of ‘Morbid Fascination’ (which sounds like a goth Goldrapp), to the scuzzed-up likes of ‘Dig A Hole’. Unsettlingly good. GM
