Full of synthy, indie goodness, ‘Now or Whenever’ has a song for whatever mood you’re in: energetic, sing-a-long anthems, chilled out, bluesy explorations of emotion, and pretty, stripped back acoustic croonings. The poetic lyrics and sense of bittersweet nostalgia that this record leaves you with are enough to convince me of Spector’s songwriting prowess, and I’m looking forward to diving into some of their previous releases.
