Hinako Omori is a London based sound engineer and her debut album is pure aural balm. She’s interested in the physical and psychological effects of different frequencies and takes inspiration from the Japanese practice of shinrin-yoku or forest-bathing (lying around among trees, to you and me). She brings delicate, finger-running-up-and-down-your-spine electronics to the fore here, for a release that is both melodic and therapeutic. DP
