This solo debut from Chelsea Rose, former front woman of Summer Twins, is an introspective delight. Tinged with the sound of 60s pop, the LA artist cuts deep into matters of the heart with eloquent lyrics that capture both the euphoria of love and the pain of heartbreak. Her sweet vocals are simultaneously charged with pathos and optimism, telling as much of a story as her lyrical talent. It’s an easy, laid back listen with airy melodies and addictive riffs, with retro instrumentation adding a quirky twist.
