The London-based punky trio of Holly (guitar/vocals), Lauren (bass) and Lucie (drums) do a very nice line in gritty garage rock and their debut album is full of the kind of spiky stuff you can really hang your hat on. They tackle issues such as mental health, feeling overlooked and sexism with an unflinchingly gimlet eye, and their jagged tunes have those all-important hooks – certainly enough to keep that fevered mosh-pit a-jumping.
