Swedish post-punk band Viagra boys are no stranger to lifting the lid on the grim reality of the world we live in through their witty lyrics and funky beats, but this third album goes one step further to encapsulate modern hysteria in a genius, if-you-don’t- laugh-you’ll-cry way. ‘Troglodyte’ accuses the gun toting, anti-science, Trumpian keyboard warrior of being less evolved than his peers, while ‘Creepy Crawlers’ satirically shrieks about how the lizard class in power are putting microchips in vaccines to harvest adrenochrome from babies. Absolutely bonkers, but pretty much every song on the album is ridiculously catchy. LT
