Living Hour - Someday is Today

Winnipeg’s Living Hour are now three albums deep into their career, and this third release is a haze of laidback and woozy sounds that make space for contemplative, emotional lyrics. There’s a delightful softness about this album, and it’s easy to get lost in the blend of Gilad Carrol’s soothing vocals with the layers of harmonies, gentle percussion and an instrumentation that, despite varying dramatically in scale at times, is always well suited to the direction of the music. There’s no real stand out moments, however, but as a whole this album serves up a chilled-out vibe that is worth immersing yourself in. LT
