Manchester’s Pip Millett has been building a steady following and her much anticipated debut album delivers a huge dollop of good vibes – particularly if you like your R&B to be as slinky as silk. This is real throttle-back stuff, but Millett breathes life into all those minor keys with her sultry vocals that have a touch of the Billy Eilish’s about them – never over-emoting but still hitting you right there.
