Opening with the bouncy, percussive rhythms of ‘DON’T SAY NOTHIN’, Saweetie cuts the gossips down to size with her sharper than sharp lyrics. She then softens things up with ‘P.U.S.S.Y’, a utopian view on the power and delight of being a woman with a dreamy sample from Mtume’s ‘Juicy Fruit’. In ‘HANDLE MY TRUTH’, she addresses how she came from homelessness and hardship. You can’t help but feel hyped up after listening. LT
