This album has been very much hyped up thanks to the huge success of lead single ‘Flowers’, with all the tabloids preparing for Cyrus to drop some bombs about her marriage to Liam Hemsworth through a host of revenge tracks - but thankfully ‘Endless Summer Vacation’ is much more than that. Instead, it takes time to reflect on the fact that even the most doomed relationships have their beautiful moments and how they impact our growth as individuals. It is admittedly over-produced in places - the more stripped-back songs where Cyrus’ vocals dominate were my favourites - but despite not being her best work musically, I enjoyed its honesty and vulnerability.
