Formed by stepsisters Kelli Mayo and Peyton Bighouse, this Oklahoma-born and bred band have built up quite a community of fans who can’t get enough of their art-punk, noise-rock, power-pop. Their latest album is another sweet and sour slice of life that opens up on matters concerning identity, disassociation, unhealthy coping mechanisms; and marries a melodic pop sensibility with whole truckfuls of crackle. Off-kilter psychodramas rarely sound this good. JL
