This latest album from Alfie Templeman is an all-you-can-eat buffet for your ears. Colourful, maximalist and experimental, it blends a range of different instrumentation and bends genre to make way for a confident step forward into endless musical pastures. At just 21 years old, it’s tempting for me to say “wow, isn’t he good for his age!”, but I feel this would be reductive of his talent. Templeman has the mettle to measure up to artists years more established than he is and I can’t wait to see where this takes him. LT
