Born in Ashington and raised in Burnopfield, this folk artist bagged our Album of the Month slot for his ‘This November Guest’ album back in 2019. And, pleased to report, his second long-player is every bit its equal. It’s a release steeped in the Northern folk tradition – built from wildflowers, bits of bracken and stinging winds – and it’s given extra body by a raft of local luminaries such as the brilliant Ceitidh Mac (cello and vocals), Hels Pattison (vocals), Graham Hardy (trumpet) and slide-guitar (Zac Savage).
