This north-east trio – featuring former Angelic Upstarts guitarist Newts Newton, Northumbrian psych rock bassist Si Cadelik, and Shaun ‘Nasty’ Richardson (of post hardcore band Crane) – bash out the kind of wired punk/post-punk/etc that feels like a cross between a shot of adrenalin and a gobful of carbolic acid. Tackling gaslighting, culture war issues, self-entitlement and more, this is a bracing release powered by the kind of righteous fury that I can really get behind. GM
